Robert Gootee

Chairman of the Board

Robert Gootee is the CEO of Moda Partners, Inc, a multi-faceted health corporation, located in the Pacific Northwest. He joined Moda in 1988 as the Chief Financial Officer and became President and CEO in 1998. In his 35+ years at Moda, he’s helped lead the corporation through extensive diversification and growth. Today, with annual revenues of almost $5 billion, the corporation operates 10 healthcare brands across 7 states serving millions of members. Prior to joining Moda, Robert held several financial management positions in the high-tech, environmental, healthcare and insurance industries.


Srinivasa Nagalla

Dr. Srinivasa Nagalla is the principal founder and CEO of Diabetomics. He was previously founder and CEO of ProteoGenix, Inc., a successful innovator in maternal-fetal health diagnostics, which was acquired by Hologic, Inc. (HOLX) in 2010. Before founding ProteoGenix, Srinivasa was Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Oregon Health & Science University. He received his MD from the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, and post-doctoral training at Harvard University and Oregon Health & Science University.


Rick Miller

Rick Miller founded Avamere Group in 1995 and currently serves as its Chair.  Avamere is a diversified family of companies including senior housing development, home and community-based care operations and a network of ancillary services with a shared purpose of keeping seniors in their own home or community of choice.  Combined annual revenue exceeds $1B. In 2010 he co-founded the venture capital firm, Rogue Venture Partners. Rick earned a business degree from the University of Oregon and an MBA from Portland State University.


Tom Sperry

Tom Sperry is a co-founder and the Managing Director of Rogue Venture Partners. Tom has held numerous leadership positions with technology companies, including as CEO of Exit Games Inc., and Blade3D. Prior to these leadership roles, Tom held senior management positions with HNC Software (Executive Director) and Looking Glass Studios (Director). He began his career at Microsoft Corporation, where he was a founding member of the Games Division.


Chris Dudley

Since 2008, Chris has been a wealth manager and Certified Financial Planner CFP®. Chris is currently the Co-Managing Partner at Filigree Wealth Advisors LLC, an independent Registered Investment Advisor.  Chris also enjoyed a 16-year career as a player in the National Basketball Association. When he was 16 years old, Chris was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. In 1994, he founded The Chris Dudley Foundation, with a mission to improve the lives of children with diabetes. He remains a principal global spokesperson and leader in the fight against diabetes. Chris is a graduate of Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science.


Dr. David Howerton

Dr. David Howerton is a Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. He has published numerous scientific articles and is active in lecturing for the healthcare community. He became a diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 1991. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, Western Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Oregon Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.


Robin Richardson

Robin Richardson is a senior vice president for Moda Partners, Inc. and is accountable for leading Moda Health’s major government accounts and Medicaid initiatives. Prior to joining Moda Health in 1998, Robin served as Executive Director of the National Home Infusion Association based in Alexandria, Virginia. Prior to that he served as Vice President for Home Health Care and Institutional Services for the National Community Pharmacists Association also based in Alexandria, Virginia. Robin volunteers for the American Diabetes Association (ADA) where he has served on its national board three times, including the Chair in 2016 and today he is the Secretary Treasurer. Robin is a distinguished alumni of Oregon State University. He is a current member and Past-President of the Oregon State University College of Pharmacy Advisory Council and was honored as an Alumni Fellow of Oregon State University.


Steve Wynne

Steve Wynne has held numerous executive leadership positions, including as CEO of Adidas America Inc. which grew from $400 million to $1.7 billion under his leadership. He was also Chairman and CEO of eteamz.com – an online startup and President and CEO of Sports Brands International – the parent company of sports apparel and footwear company Fila. Throughout his career, Steve has served as an active board member for several successful public and private companies across a wide-range of disciplines, among them FLIR Systems (an infrared imaging company), Protocol  Systems (a medical equipment company), Planar Systems (a technology display company), Jeld-Wen Holdings (a building materials company) and Pendleton Woolen Mills (a textile company). He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Willamette University and a J.D. from Willamette University College of Law. He co-founded the Pacific Northwest law firm Ater Wynne LLP, which was acquired by Buchalter in 2019.
