Chris Dudley
Mr. Chris Dudley has served as Chairman of our board since 2011. Since 2008, Mr. Dudley had been a partner at Filigree Advisors until it was acquired by Boston Wealth in 2016. Mr. Dudley also enjoyed a 16-year career as a player in the National Basketball Association. When he was 16 years old, Mr. Dudley was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. In 1994, he founded The Chris Dudley Foundation, with a mission to improve the lives of children with diabetes. He remains a principal global spokesperson and leader in the fight against diabetes. Mr. Dudley is a graduate of Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science.
Srinivasa Nagalla
Dr. Nagalla is the principal founder and chief executive officer of Diabetomics. He was previously founder and CEO of ProteoGenix, Inc., a successful innovator in maternal-fetal health diagnostics, which was acquired by Hologic, Inc. (HOLX) in 2010. Before founding ProteoGenix, Dr. Nagalla was Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Nagalla received his MD from the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, and post-doctoral training at Harvard University and Oregon Health & Science University.
Rick Miller
Mr. Rick Miller has served as a member of our board since 2011. Mr. Miller has been a businessman and philanthropist in the Portland area for many years. In 2010, Mr. Miller co-founded the private equity firm, Rogue Venture Partners to invest in Oregon based entrepreneurs. Mr. Miller founded Avamere Group in 1995 and currently serves as its Chairman. Avamere is a diversified family of companies with a progressive agenda to keep seniors healthy, independent and out of hospital and nursing facilities for as long as practicable. Mr. Miller earned a B.A. in Marketing and Management from the University of Oregon and an MBA from Portland State University.
Robert Gootee
Mr. Robert Gootee has served as an independent board member since 2011. In 1988, Mr. Gootee joined Moda Health (formerly known as ODS), a large health services provider. He was appointed CEO in 1998. Prior to joining Moda Health, Mr. Gootee was at PwC. Mr. Gootee is a graduate of Texas A&M University.
